Celeriac Salad

Salade de céleri rave

Very simple salad, one that I missed a lot my first year in the States as it was not always easy to find this vegetable. So nice and easy to make!

How to do it:

Peel the celeriac. Remove all the soft parts (the kernel of the celeriac). Then grate, as fine as you wish. Chop very thinly all the herbs.

To make the vinaigrette:

In a small bowl, add the mustard and cream. Mix well. Then add salt and pepper, and in this order, the vinegar followed by the oil. Mix well, until lighter. Pour over the celeriac.

Serve as an accompaniment.






You need:

1 celeriac
Fresh mint and parsley
Salt and pepper

For the vinaigrette:

1 tsp mustard
1 tsp sour cream
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbls olive oil
Salt and pepper
